Congregate Meals

Senior Citizen Congregate Meals for midday meals on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are available for all seniors over the age of 60 at The Senior Citizen Center. On weeks with a Monday holiday, meals are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Serving begins at 11:30 am. The recommended donation is $6.00 for each meal.

Meals On Wheels

Home-delivered meals are available seven days a week. Meals are prepared by the Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association meal program and delivered in-home with a recommended donation amount of $3.00 for each meal.

Adult Day Care

Families are able to utilize the Dahl Memorial Nursing Home at no cost as respite care for up to 3 days per month for their dependent loved ones.

Blood Pressure Checks

Free blood pressure checks are available once a month at congregate meals.

Senior Center

The congregate meal site is our Senior Center. It is open for all individuals interested in visiting, completing puzzles, playing card games and a variety of social events. The Senior Citizen Center is on Main Street, next to the Credit Union. The Senior Citizen Center phone number is 406-775-6203.

Commodity Supplemental Food Program

This is a federally funded program to provide supplemental food packages to income-eligible persons over the age of 60. Food boxes are distributed once a month.

Council On Aging

This Council consists of nine members (5 senior citizens) who meet bi-monthly to oversee the local senior program services and make suggestions as to how they can improve this endeavor.

Homemaker

This service provides assistance in-home with light housework, laundry, shopping and using the telephone. Services are provided with a recommended donation of $3.00 each hour. Please call Kathy Smith at 775-6808 to schedule an in-home visit.
